Blinders - A Luxury Sports Lounge in Charlotte, NC
THE PROJECT
OmShera Holdings, a prominent hospitality group, sought to create a one-of-a-kind venue at their new Blinders Sports Lounge in Charlotte, NC. Their vision: to create an immersive, high-quality A/V experience that would rival the energy and scale of a Las Vegas sportsbook with the ability to transform into a luxury night club at the push of a button. To bring this vision to life, OmShera enlisted the joint expertise of DCBolt Productions, and global AV technology pioneer Peerless-AV.
The project, initiated in March 2024 and set for completion in time for the March 2025 opening, included a cutting-edge 4K UHD LED video wall, a bespoke speaker system, and an integrated AV solution that would offer the ultimate experience for sports enthusiasts.

The video wall, measuring 57' wide by 22' high, was mounted by Peerless-AV using a SEAMLESS Bespoke Floor-to-Wall mounting structure, carefully designed to account for wall load, heat dissipation, and precise tolerances to ensure durability long term.
The dvLED video wall’s pixel pitch of 1.8mm was chosen to optimize viewing from the Lounge area, where patrons would be seated at varying distances. The video wall was designed with a unique 10-degree forward tilt to ensure an optimal viewing experience for guests from all viewing angles.
DCBolt engineered a premium, nearly 50,000 watt VOID Acoustics sound system to achieve unparalleled audio quality for a sportsbook lounge setting. The audio system was tuned by Void's own North American Technical Lead, Nathan Short.
The result of this collaboration is a state-of-the-art sportsbook and entertainment venue that delivers a rich, luxurious, high-definition viewing experience paired with exceptional sound quality that wows guests from the moment they enter.
